TODAY is World Gratitude Day!

September 21, 2010

A Great-Full Day.

Started in 1977 by the United Nations Meditation Group, World Gratitude Day is an opportunity to celebrate the things you are grateful for and to show appreciation for your blessings.

Everyone can take part by acknowledging what you are thankful for. It’s easy:

Call a loved one;

Treat a friend to lunch;

Send a thank you by email;

And just be thankful for everything in your life.

“Every day, think as you wake up, today I am

fortunate to be alive.  I have a precious human

life, I am not going to waste it.  I am going to use

all my energies to develop myself, to expand my

heart to others; to achieve enlightenment for the

benefit of all beings.  I am going to have kind thoughts towards others, I am not going to get angry or think badly about others.  I am going to benefit others as much as I can.”  –The Dalai Lama

Join with us in celebrating World Gratitude Day,

Many blessings today and always,

Kathy & Eileen
